The Sexy Chef is Manila’s premiere diet and healthy food delivery service, owned by singer-actress Rachel Alejandro and Chef Barni Alejandro-Rennebeck.
The Sexy Chef was originally established in 2004 as a diet food delivery service catering to residents of Metro Manila. Now going on our 11th year as Manila’s premiere diet and health food provider — and just like our ever-growing clientele of healthy eaters — we have grown, in our case expanded from a mom-and-pop operation out of our Lola’s kitchen into a team of highly qualified cooks, customer care specialists, marketing and finance department personnel that work hand in hand to achieve our mission: to provide nutritious meals and easy weight management solutions for our health- and figure-conscious clients, among them some of the country’s top celebrities.
Our services now include private and corporate event catering, as well as affordable, healthy lunch and dinner meal packages – a favorite with the office crowd.

Chef Barni Alejandro-Rennebeck
A graduate of the International School of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management, Chef Barni creates all of our recipes, with the assistance of a nutritionist. She often designs menus for corporate wellness events and programs; writes blogs and contributes articles to health and wellness magazines, including a monthly food column on Appetite Magazine; and was a consultant chef on The Biggest Loser Philippines. A pioneer in the health food industry in our country, the Sexy Chef herself still considers being a mother to her daughter Arya as her best achievement.

An award-winning singer-actress who has conquered the Philippine concert stage, record, film and theater industry for over 25 years, Rachel turned entrepreneur with The Sexy Chef. The company’s main endorser and spokesperson, she leads the marketing team and promotes a healthy lifestyle in line with the Sexy Chef brand. In between traveling to perform all around the country and the world, starring in musical plays and guesting on TV, Rachel still finds time to write a regular blog for Rappler, and wishes there more hours in the day to make her business grow even more.

With almost 20 years experience in marketing, Ann is an invaluable member of our team, and spearheads all public relations activities, working closely with Rachel. Prior to joining the company, she was marketing manager of Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, head of advertising and promotions for sporting and leisure chain Sportshouse, and marketing director of Tienda Magazine. Charissa Fayne M. Dinglas, RND
Cha is a licensed nutritionist and dietician who works with Chef Barni to develop The Sexy Chef’s meals and diet programs. She is often called on to support the Alejandro sisters when they give health talks and cooking demos for companies and the general public.
